Information Systems Laboratories, Inc., a high-tech, employee-owned technology-development company, is seeking applicants for a Software Test Engineer in its Energy and Space Division. This is a remote position (preferably within commuting distance to Idaho Falls, ID), with daily software development team interactions based out of the western US.
ISL’s Energy and Space Division provides comprehensive support to the nuclear and space industries, including, but not limited to, safety analysis and assessment of complex engineering systems, computer code development along the entire software lifecycle, waste management tracking, risk management, and development of regulatory structures and evaluation procedures.
The Software Test Engineer position primarily involves joining a small team to advance a web based, Java application suite that supports nuclear waste tracking. The applicant will be responsible for requirements analysis, creation of test plans and test cases, and system testing in accordance with project standards and guidelines.
Education
The position requires a bachelor’s degree (science or technology field preferred).

Due to security requirements, candidates must demonstrate United States citizenship for consideration of this position.

Desired Skills
- Strong mathematics background.
- Experience with QA documentation and/or NQA-1.
- Familiarity with database design and SQL.
