The Dayton RDES office of Information Systems Laboratories, Inc. (ISL) has been a proud community partner of the Dayton STEM School for the past 4 years as a bronze level sponsor. The school was founded in 2009 to push Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to local students grades 6-12. The school has been a benefit to the local business communities providing an avenue to promote their need of a STEM driven workforce. As a community partner ISL is available for student internships and other mentoring opportunities, such as job shadowing. ISL staff volunteered for the Annual College and Career Fair with a booth showcasing ISL’s many career opportunities in STEM related fields. We look forward to continuing our association with the Dayton STEM School in preparing our future workforce.
