(San Diego) – Information Systems Laboratories (ISL), is pleased to
announce an order from the German Navy for >$2M to develop and
support the latest generation Fast Time Analysis System (FTAS). The
system will replace the FTAS currently in operation at the Naval Air
Station 3 "Graf Zeppelin" located at Nordholz Germany and will
provide post mission support for the German Navy’s P-3C "Orion"
Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) Squadron. The system performs
quick-look and in-depth full spectrum processing and display of
pre-recorded acoustic signals and information to support MPA post
mission analysis, reconstruction, data archiving, and training. The
work on this program will be performed by the Signal Processing
Systems Engineering (SPSE) Division at the ISL Headquarters facility
in San Diego, California. ELAC Nautik, based in Kiel Germany, is
teamed with ISL to provide training and in-country support for the
life of the system.

an order for two of the latest generation Fast Time Analysis System
(FTAS). These systems will replace the FTAS currently in operation
at Lann Bihoué and Nimes Garons and will be used to provide post
mission acoustic analysis support for the French Navy’s Atlantique 2
Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) Squadrons. Contract issued by the
French Navy Délégation Générale Pour l’Armement (DGA) to Spectral
Dynamics (SD), France. ISL will be producing these systems under a
subcontract to SD, France who has been a long term partner of ISL’s
on similar programs for the French Navy. A majority of the work on
this program will be performed by the Signal Processing Systems
(SPS) Engineering Division at the ISL Headquarters facility in San
Diego, California.
