ISL staff have participated in numerous DOE site audits/assessments, including:

  • Yucca Mountain: Cyber Security program (Test and Evaluation Certification and Accreditation). Software Quality Assurance program, Enterprise Architecture, Network/Systems, Lifecycle Methodology.
  • Idaho National Laboratory: Cyber Security program
  • Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA): Cyber Security Programs, POA&M preparation, vulnerability assessments of BEA's environments against NIST 800-53 controls.

Kansas City Power & Light

ISL was a strategic member of the team that performed an IT information security audit of Kansas City Power & Light infrastructure. ISL provided over five years of subsequent support engineering, implementing, and maintaining an active enterprise information security program for KCP&L as well as Great Plains Energy. In addition to working the highly technical aspects of the security program, ISL also worked on the IT security policies and procedures, the information security awareness program, handbook, and quarterly report.
