Position Description

Information Systems Laboratories, an employee-owned, research and development company, is seeking a Program Manager in its System Engineering and Integration Operation, located in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall technical, scientific, engineering and project management of various technical programs with a focus on acoustics and cyber technology.

Education

BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (prefer MSEE/MSCS) and 10 years experience managing FFP DOD systems integration contracts (prefer 15 years experience).

Required Skills

Must have experience in managing cost, schedule and contracts issues. Position includes leadership of engineers; management of project budget and schedule; entrepreneurial interface with and reporting to customers and senior management; production of technical and cost proposals; and excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated customer interface skills are critical. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information. Position requires an Active Secret Clearance. Must be competent in Linux, C++, Matlab, Windows OS, and Mercury OS.

Desired Skills

Experience with acoustic systems and performance for ASW applications, and software process improvement activities that include achieving SEI level III certification is desirable.
